Took out the trash and recyclables to the street to be picked-up, got yesterday's mail, went to the post office and dropped death certificates and thank you notes in the blue box, running the dishwasher, cleaned the stuff off the dining room table, wiped the table down, wiped the salt and pepper shakers down and filled the salt shaker and most importantly remembering 9/11.

Put the sheet on the bed after it dried overnight.

Got the curry put away into the freezer for long term storage. Made rice & put that away too.

It is one of my & my partner's fav meals. I make a Japanese style curry in my insta pot. This time I used chicken, sweet potato, russet potato & carrot. Its based on this recipe.

You can make it in a pot or wok too.

I do enjoy my Insta pot. We found the smaller size on sale. 😁 We don't have an airfryer tho. The instapot is good for making tougher cuts of meat tasty. Pot roast is also great in it.

Hopefully I'll trip over a sale. The holidays are getting close, too. I need to go to the grocery. I've got some ideas so I can change some things up.

I went to the grocery this morning and then realized I forgot to write down the ingredients for pumpkin soup. That was on my mental list to get. I thought that would be something to mix things up.

You're welcome. I'm glad I could remind you of something. I have to go into the grocery tomorrow to go to the pharmacy so I can deal with it then if I decide to go ahead and make the soup. I should be okay until the next actual grocery trip, but it does sound good.

Went to the gym for the fourth time this week. Given how I feel today (jelly), this may have constituted overdoing it.

Mostly avoided the news successfully. (19 years ago, I was neither in New York nor D.C.)

Picked up a bench and a shower chair.

Wore the correct mask for the occasion.

Got fuel and groceries.

Hung out again w/neighbor across the hall, and meditated. He informed me about an online meditation magazine, so I bookmarked it and am going to go back at some point to check it out.





Received a call from my father, who needed to help me consolidate my bank accounts. So he drove over here and we did that.

Remembered to get a necessary bit when it was convenient that I would be driving by the merchant that sold it.
