Talked with a neighbor again on the phone.





Had a lovely Thanksgiving with my parents and a sister. My other sister who lives here had to work during the big meal. But my 2 other sisters came with my brother-in-law, niece and nephew. We all gathered in my parents' downstairs living room, spread out, and all of us wore our masks when not dining.

Participated in the Thanksgiving cooking.

That too! Turkey and stuffing and potatoes and asparagus and bacon and (store bought) gravy and tiramisu and it was all delicious.

Plus I invented a drink for the occasion, a combination of citrus liqueurs and lingonberry syrup.

Didn't get to celebrate Thanksgiving because it's just another working day here, but I did speak to my parents for about an hour, late at night, and it was a lovely conversation.

I have bought foods with which to celebrate tomorrow.
