I made fluffy pancakes for breakfast. Loaded the dishwasher. Let the pest control person in to spray the front room.

Hopefully the spray will be. We havn't seen many bugs.

Took out the trash and recyclables to the curb to be picked-up, got yesterday's mail, made toast and gravy for breakfast, watched Gilmore Girls and Supernatural episodes that a channel has been marathoning, ordered a folk art Christmas tree and wrote 25 holiday cards. That didn't even put a dent in it. I'm about to order a few things to tide me over.

I spent the whole day on a leadership course for BAME staff. It was really wonderful but also e x h a u s t i n g. Everyone has been through so much this year, and it was cathartic to talk about it, but also tough to keep focused on our collective effort to improve ourselves.

Hung out again with my neighbor across the hall, and with some former neighbors. Great to see them again.

I also made a really cute cardboard elephant and colored him in on one of the sides.
