I stood around in the rain and the cold (and the hail!) and got my first vaccine for COVID. (Before that I spent several hours online looking for an open appointment slot...)

Gave a talk at a recruitment event.

Prepared a bunch of presentations for another admissions event on Saturday.

Practiced an entirely different talk for a third event which is also happening this week. I am going to be shattered by Sunday.

Yes. The me from 20 years ago who got physically ill before speaking in public would not believe how much of it I do now.

Took a nap when my body told me I needed one.

Finished reading a book and started another.

Hung out again for most of the day w/neighbor across the hall, and we took a walk around the block. Also talked w/next-door neighbor mostly about politics.






My tutor came and we cooked dinner. We finished my birthday cake and agree the party was a lot of fun.

I may have found a focus for my idea that doesn't cause me great offense about wasted potential.

Had a plan to deal with the possibility that I might be locked inside my car. (The cold weather messed with the locks.)

Dealt with the claustrophobia attack afterwards.
