Spent most of the day reading a book whose loan was due to expire tonight. I finished it, yay!

Did some knitting early this morning.

Posed a question to my Discord, and responded to everyone who commented.

Had a conversation that disappointed me somewhat, but I vented about it with a friend which included a promise to follow up on it with my therapist this week.

Drank some water, though still not nearly enough.

Cooking today. I made muffins last night when I couldn't sleep at 12 30 am. I made chicken & dumplings and roasted broccoli.

I did dishes several times. I also loaded the laundry but haven't run it yet. I did some reading & had a nap too.

Made the connecting spaces between my sidewalk and others remained clear for passage.

Loads of cooking. I made porridge with bacon and blueberries for breakfast, saimin/ramen with loads of toppings for lunch, a Victoria sponge cake for afternoon tea, and a paneer curry in the slow cooker for supper (and enough left over for 2x additional meals).

Finished tacking the remains of my daughter's baby blanket onto a tiny quilt.

Created binding tape, as the first voyage of my trusty new iron.

Put on GBBO for chill watching in honor of the baking-centric efforts of Obligation Day (reference, nsfw).

Hung out w/neighbor across the hall. His local sister-in-law dropped off Valentines for the 2 of us, including fresh-baked cookies which were very tasty.





Telephoned my mother to wish the fam a happy Valentine's Day. Had a nice conversation with her and a sister.
