Husband and I went cycling today. I am so out of shape! (truth be told, I was born out of shape. Excercise was never something I found in any way, shape or form "fun") I don't cycle in winter because it's cold, dark and slippery and it makes me feel unsafe, but it's decidedly spring-y now, so I'll be starting that up again soon. So we did a little one. I'd forgotten the whole thing about considering which gear I'm in. I discovered this halfway up the first little hill. My excercise induced bronchial constriction is now telling me I should probably do this a few more times before re-starting cycling part of the way to work...

Exercise is great. A neighbor and I did that yesterday.

Ran an admissions event.

Baked ginger cake.

Ooo, ginger cake! I just this evening got some molasses because GBBO influenced me about loaf-type gingerbread, and we unaccountably had no molasses.

Assisted in the part of rearranging the bedroom (again) that involved sorting the stuff that goes on the newly installed cube shelf. Found some vaguely missing items.

Grocery shopping.

Hung out w/neighbor across the hall again for most of the day, and we took another walk around the block.





Met w/tutor. He got his final vaccine jab a few days ago, and was out of commission for the rest of that day and the next just as a friend and former neighbor had predicted. But tutor felt a good deal better yesterday.

Huzzah for tutor getting the vaccine, and feeling better a day later!

I did quite a bit about moving things and laundering clothes and shopping and the like.
