Old House is FINALLY empty, apart from the garage

After

1. A lot of help from [friend] over the past few weeks [no face to face contact, she worked when I wasn't]

2. Me working for more than 5 hours last night - I worked from before-midnight til 5am - I worked until my feet hurt so much that I couldn't stand up. My feet hurt so much that I had trouble falling asleep this morning because of foot pain, which is very unusual for me.

3. More help from [friend] this morning [no face to face contact, she worked when I wasn't]

Old House is FINALLY empty, apart from the garage

94 days after I moved out

I am very stiff and sore

and my feet are swollen and I am hobbling everywhere in very small steps

but if experience is anything to go by

I should be back to normal-for-me after 7 days and lots of panadol and ibuprofen

The garage at my New House is full of boxes of stuff to sort, but that can wait for another day.

Congrats on the move! Been there, done that. My biggest move was from one state to another. It happened back in 1985, when my father took a job at one of the hospitals here in Illinois.

An ungodly amount of work.

Survived a thing, with the help of a friend.

Finished a crochet project.

Washed clothes, a few hours earlier than usual for me.

Streamed! Started 45 minutes late due to the Thing, but streamed anyway and had fun.

Took a shower.

Did some photography before being reminded about it. Solved some problems relating to the photography.

Hung out again for most of the day with neighbor across the hall, and with another neighbor and my tutor. Next-door neighbor got injured snow-boarding and had to take yesterday off work. But we supported him and he's gonna be all right.

Managed to get the computer to talk back to me with correct data.

(Only to find that the device I have the microphone hooked up to doesn't appear to have any way of increasing the microphone's gain, so I have to eat it to reliably trigger the wakeup.)
