Did some marking which should make the next couple of days of vivas [thesis defences] easier.

Also, made some chilli and some chocolate crispy treats that will make the next few days of evening meals easier.

I made a sensible decision to use my shipping point and go to bed, rather than try to stay up and complete a thing.

I learned some 3D modeling skills (SketchUp) and built a mockup of the shower enclosure that I saw in my head.

Mended the elusive hole in my partner's blanket that's been there for a few years. The blanket has fuzzy ridges, and the hole was between two of them, so it was almost impossible to spot without extensive searching -- or it happening to be folded at the correct angle. But finally, the hole and the sewing kit were in the same space at the same time.
