Hung out again w/neighbor across the hall. We took a walk to the local Walgreens and back, between the storms.

Got groceries.

Dealt with the heat.

Helped with some downstairs rearrangement so everyone will have a reasonable seat for Sunday's worse heat.

Found food.

Go you with the heat wave planning. I hope you and housemates are coping with it.

Bonus Housemate had to cool off in the shower four times yesterday. We left the air conditioner on overnight so at least we'd be starting from a cool place (the weather service has been warning us that it will not cool off appreciably overnight), and we have a very large box of pasta salad ready, plus cold fruit and cucumbers.

Took the children to the library. Afterwards we had doughnuts.

Minimized the amount of time spent outside without a climate control system to take the edge off.
