Not accomplishing too much this morning, but I got a bit done. I took a bag of recycling out to the bin in the garage, picked-up the last couple of days worth of mail and went to the blue box at the post office and dropped a bill. I am strongly considering going back to bed.

Talked with some neighbors via phone call and text message. I might be able to move back into my apartment as early as Wednesday, because the landlord says they will most likely be finished with the installation of central air on that day.





Went out to lunch with my tutor. We walked to a restaurant that is near my parents' place. We sat outside and the food was good. I had carry-out from there a few times, but today was my first experience dining there. Our server did a nice job, and we of course wore masks when inside the place.

Things got done, once the temperature had dropped sufficiently to do them.

Went to a friend's barbecue and ate an unholy amount of delicious food. And smores.

Gave haircuts! Fairly successfully! I am getting more used to the clippers and clipped my partner's hair faster than I've previously managed to. Other housemate wanted an undercut, and it turned out very like a haircut they had wanted nearly ten years ago (which the stylist had failed to deliver).

Made a change to the internet setup that astonished the official maintainer: added an fan on the router, which had been operating outside of temperatures that computermachines are typically supposed to run at. A drop of more than 10°C ensued, putting it back within expectations. I may be slightly smug.
