Made some progress today. I found my living room floor, I broke down a huge box that I should have done a long time ago (still have another, but no place to put it so that will happen later), got most of the groceries put away, and the air conditioner repair man came today and fixed the leak and did the service.

Had good sessions with my students and a PGTA I'm helping to put together a lecture and activity for one of my modules.

Did my part in figuring out dinner (consolidating vague preferences into a restaurant choice for takeout).

Baked bread.

Rescued bread when I massively over-egged it due to the difference in size between eggs from next door and eggs from the store. (Hyperlocal eggs: 4.2/4.3 oz. Store eggs: more like 6.2 oz., so instead of making the double batch I thought I was, I made basically a triple batch with the eggs. Which put the ingredient ratios out of whack even more so when I added enough flour to make it into a dough instead of a batter, so it was under-buttered, the yeast was already tired, and there wasn't enough of it, and not enough sugar for the yeast either.)

I may try it as a waffle batter also.
