 It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished! Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Didn't accomplish as much as I would have liked today. I paid a couple of bills by phone, went to the bank drive-thru, have the second load of laundry in the dryer and finished a book and started another. I'm also trying to write, but I' think I'm too tired, but you never know.

I put my organizational, insightful, and physics knowledge to work for a consultation about air conditioning the house with better equipment than we currently have. I took notes, asked good questions, and developed a preference for the cooling device that would pour cool air down from the wall, rather than shove cool air up a floor-level vent with potentially inadequate size.

I am deeply amused that by the end of the appointment, the main guy doing the consult was looking perhaps a little more at me for approval than at my partner (the homeowner and the typical person that tradespeople look at for approval). I had to redirect that one by pointing out that I'm the physics person and my partner is the finance person.

I put seat covers on the buckets of my partner's car and got it done before the rain got heavy.
