Just one thing: 25 October 2021
Oct. 24th, 2021 06:11 pmIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Date: 2021-10-26 01:31 pm (UTC)Our landlord and some of his crew stopped by to continue working in my next-door neighbor's place. The landlord also came into my apartment and the neighbor's apartment across the hall, to see what work remains. They are supposedly returning today to do more stuff in order to get the central heating up and running. It is already fully functional in at least one of the apartments in the building. In the meantime, I again slept with the space heater going and some brown noise to drown out the clanging of the radiator pipes.
Found out that the neighbor who just moved in downstairs, is already sick and tired of us and is therefore moving out tomorrow. Not everybody knows about it yet though.

Date: 2021-10-27 08:14 am (UTC)When fixing the broken flush chain within the toilet tank was proving excessively hard, figured out how to get it out.
Fixed the thing for a good long time with a plastic coated twist tie.
