Went to my department's research away day. Tried not to be too shocked about being taken seriously.

Hung out again w/neighbor across the hall, plus our downstairs neighbor who just had surgery. She is doing well.





Dealt with the poor maintenance. I've actually realized for some time now that what at least part of the problem is here is that they need more reliable crew members. My building had 2 landlords when ownership was handed over a few years ago, but the 2 split up apparently due to philosophical differences. But I'm told they're still friends. Something will get worked out though.



My tutor came to make dinner for me and my neighbor across the hall, and we started preparations for Monday's Thanksgiving potluck.
