Took kiddo to dentist. Called car shop AGAIN. Called different car shop for second opinion. Waiting to hear back. Called HVAC dude (he called me, but I answered and talked!). Scheduled that for tomorrow.

Adulting is hard. So I also ate a biscuit (US style). Nom.

Tried not to convey too much of the stress and worry I was feeling to the children, as the coverage of the invasion of Ukraine unfolded today.

I went to work for a half day but my partner wasn't feeling well enough to go to his dentist apt. I called to reschedule but they never answered. I did leave a message so hopefully they call me back tomorrow.

With my unexpected free time I lightly cleaned the carpet, played with my dog & did rhe dishes. I tried not too stress about the news and somewhat succeeded.

Thank you. They did call me back today. I was able to reschedule ... for next Thursday. We are in for a rough week. Much adulting will be needed.

Errands, even though I was operating too slowly to do them in daylight.

Made the difficult post to Nextdoor about someone's permanently lost cat (seen in the middle of the street, and had been there some time already)

I went to work on building the second presentation that has been accepted for the local professional conference in May.
