It has been 19 months since my youngest was born, and my period came back in the last 24 hours for the first time.

I coped.

I not only coped, I coped so well that we all went out and had fun, as planned, at the water park this afternoon. And yes, I mean *I* had fun too.

(I admit, I was rather enjoying not having to deal with that particular biological reality, though.)

ETA: the sort of water park with fountains and ankle-deep wading pools, not the sort you swim in.
