Went to see a small art gallery exhibition (Maurice Wade).

Went to the nearby Monkey Forest and enjoyed watching the macaques.

With help, the lights that were depending on a flaky hub and worse have been bright into the local control space. Which will mean regenerating many of the tasks that were set to those objects from the web, but that means more projects. (And possibly learning a little more about API calls.)

Started to unpack the first of several boxes of childhood and teenagerdom from my mother.

Fortunately, I did a lot of the emotional parts about a decade ago around a family reunion. For this set, I have a heads up about most of the objects arriving (today was opening a lot of treasure boxes, though) and I am mostly excited and happy.

I did discover my first engagement ring (we were 15 and 14, and it was an agreement to see how we felt after college -- she's now married to a different high school sweetheart and teaching at uOttowa) and that felt major. I figured out how to display a lot of the sentimental small objects associated with nerd camp, and that was really cool.
