Overcame travel-weariness enough to go to Blenheim Palace to see the Ai Wei Wei exhibition. Or at least the pieces that were outdoors - toddler needed to run off a lot of energy today.

It was/is! We want to go back to try and see the rest of the exhibition before it ends in December. One nice thing about Blenheim is that if you convert your (rather expensive) day pass at the appropriate kiosk, you can come back any time for free for a year.

Cheered up my boyfriend with entertaining text messages when he had to get up before 7am for work today.

Opened all of my post from the last week today and in the pile there was a thank you card from the person I gave an SI Awareness wristband to recently.

Got out of the apartment for a work/study date at my favorite tea bar with friends. ♥ Am now taking care of myself by resting with knitting and TV.

A tea bar? That sounds wonderful!

Is it just like a bar, but with tea instead of booze? I wish we had one of those around here…

LOL! It calls itself a tea bar but it's more of a cafe. They have started serving alcoholic drinks, but no coffee products at all. You can order a bottomless hot tea (they give you the tea leaves and as much hot water as you want to steep it) and hang out for hours. (Friends and I were there maybe 5? Hanging out and working on things and drinking tea.)

Aw, bummer! I mean, there are cafes around here, but as a teetotaler, a bar that just sold tea would be a great hang-out spot.

I'm not a teetotaler, but I was disappointed they added alcoholic drinks - I loooooove tea so much and there are tons of bars so why couldn't we just have our tea. So. I feel you!

Same. Even a cafe with good tea would be nice; cafes round here are coffee places that think tea comes in bags.

I wrote! After a week of not writing anything, I wrote a bit of fiction, a book review, a blog post, and a 1,000+ word journal entry.
