It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing that you've accomplished in the past 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange, or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Ate a s'more, my first in years. It's way too hard to find graham crackers in this country, goddammit.

Ahhh, yum! Where, pray tell, did you manage to find graham crackers? I've never seen them in the UK.

The bigger Tescos seem to be having a little American-import shelf in their "world food" section. While most such things fetishize candy and sweet things (something that annoys me so much I swear I will write about it some day), this also has Jif peanut butter, Malt O Meal, Kraft mac and cheese, and stuff like that. And graham crackers. None of it's cheap, but if there's something you particularly want (like my fellow Minnesota-ex-pat friend and I, who got talking about s'mores and reached a point where we needed to have them!) it's nice to know it's there. It happened the store we tried didn't have them in stock, but you can get them from Tesco online too, and so he managed to arrange a delivery before I had to catch a train home this weekend. :)

Thanks very much for the tip. I'll definitely check for them next time I'm in a big Tesco.

Did not swear in front of the toddler when I dropped the big new jar of Nutella on my foot this morning.

(On the minus side, will probably have to go to the doctor tomorrow to see if foot is broken.)

Thanks! I hope so too. The toddler was pretty cute about holding the ice pack on my foot. In toddler-world, it seems that ice packs are the cure for everything that makes you cry. I suspect this is something they pick up from nursery.

I grocery shopped and cooked (and baked a batch of pumpkin muffins that are still in the oven)!

I also did some laundry and marked some papers and did a teensy bit of dissertation writing.

Mmm, pumpkin muffins. What a delicious-sounding prospect.
