I got my teeth cleaned. First time in a year.

Yay, go you! It's been since pre-pandemic for me. The dentists were prioritising the children during the pandemic. I'm looking forward to my deep clean in November.

I just finished wrapping a wedding gift for friends. Big, moderately heavy box. I had to dig through my stash of wrapping paper, which is mostly holiday, but fortunately it leans towards winter colors and motifs rather than Santa Claus. I found some gold paper with silver stars that works nicely. Then I had to track down a bow big enough to look good on it. Luckily the biggest one I found was also gold.

We bought them a fairly comprehensive set of pots and pans from their registry list. Cooking is good for human bonding and family life, and something my partner and I enjoy doing. :D

Yeah, we just dropped it off tonight. They are well thrilled with it. *chuckle* And one of their cats had fun playing with a cardboard insert that had holes in it.

Hung out again w/neighbor across the hall for most of the day, and with 2 other neighbors. One of them bought caramel apples and gave them to us, then she made some of us a second dinner which she did not have to do. But it was excellent. Pork tenderloin and instant mashed potatoes.





Got some more coursework done.

Talked on the phone w/my mother about tomorrow's fundraiser.
