Spent most of my shift at the hospital with my client. The PEG feeding tube that she needs came out of her stomach.

Followed this up with sleep and self-care.

Well, I haven't done it yet, but am going out to an 80s fancy dress disco tonight, even though I really don't feel like it, because it is my friend's birthdayand the one thing he wants to do.

Did not cry or scream when I found the floor wet in just the way it was a couple of weeks ago. I just e-mailed the plumber who'd been here then, and dragged the humidifier back upstairs, and sopped up as much of the water as I could with towels and did not freak out despite the low baseline my mental health started out at even before this. I am inordinately proud of myself.

TRIED to give blood. (Got rejected again :( but tried anyway)

Oh, well done and sympathies. (I'm often borderline with iron levels, so can give blood about 75% of the time.)

In my case, it's the minimum weight limit (I'm pocket-sized!) and i've never been able to give blood so far. >:(

Document delivery deadline met. It's the third one of this round, which has been dragging on for months, and am VERY VERY hopeful that it is the last until next year. /o\

I admitted to myself that I was exhausted and actually rested up instead of trying to power through- before I got to the "miserable and burnt out" phase, for once.
