Went to a family memorial.

Took all day and lots of retracing my steps in order to get my prescription filled for the cost of one prescription, which it is, instead of two, which it was written down as! A lot of hassle and stress for eight quid, but it's still worth it when I've got no income. Also, the principle of the thing! It's one prescription!

I got up hours before the crack of dawn and drove myself to the airport in Ottawa despite getting a little bit lost on the way there in the dark and snow, and took public transit home from the airport in Boston (which involved two buses and two trains and took over an hour) instead of giving in to the temptation to take a convenient but terribly expensive taxi ride.

I also marked a bunch of papers, and met with a student.
