Yeah I was pretty pleased with that. :) I'd had a nice day catching up with someone dear to me who I see too rarely, and getting squashed by a car would've put a real damper on the day.

I marked ten students' portfolios plus part of ten more and have now dragged myself into American Thanksgiving break, which will hopefully allow me to get caught up and dig myself out of my current stress-hole.
