Cancelled all the appointments, because I need to spend the day lying down.

Thank you, it did. Although I was working, it helped to have my feet elevated. They are now more like feet and less like water balloons on the ends of my legs. Late pregnancy: AUGH.

Ha, true! The last six weeks seem to take forever, though. Much longer than the first 34 weeks, for some reason. :P

I've read at least a couple of the chapters in isolation (I've been an informal editor for her for years) and am finding them really interesting. And I'm someone who doesn't have even a bachelor's degree!

Survived a day with ALL the siblings and many of the extended family and significant others. Survived fucking Thanksgiving. Did not lose my shit at any point.

I had a nice lunch with my undergraduate academic advisor, who has continued to be a supportive mentor to me as a graduate student. Also, it happened because I invited him out for lunch!
