We finished the first half of the freezer project, which was emptying it and stashing everything in a car outside, so it can defrost.

Prevailed over the refrigerator.

Hung out again with the neighbors, and did laundry. Also hung out with my personal assistant who returned from another long weekend.





A pipe in a neighbor's apartment burst last night, so the entire building currently has no water. The good news is that the landlord was contacted and dispatched some of his workers right away. We should have water again later this morning/afternoon. Said neighbor spent the night at a nearby hotel.

Survived a major disruption to commuting transport (all trains cancelled for several hours). Arranged emergency pickup for Eldest. Got to Youngest with 5 minutes to spare before wraparound care closed.
